More from Eric-

When did you become interested in physical therapy?

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in anatomy & physiology.  As a college freshman, physical therapy became my primary focus because of the integral role it played in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic & musculoskeletal issues.  Plus, it gave me the opportunity to work directly with patients.

What is your treatment philosophy?

Over the years, I have learned that for people to get better and reach their physical therapy goals, they must take ownership of their health & make their rehabilitation a priority.  I truly enjoy the rewards that come with patients meeting their goals and returning to their activities.

Where are you from?
I am from Los Angeles, California
What is your role at Landmark Physical Therapy?
Physical Therapist
What is your favorite part about working at Landmark Physical Therapy?
My favorite part about working at Landmark is the positive work environment.  It is very obvious that the staff at Landmark enjoys working here.  In addition, Landmark is always looking for ways to better serve the community.
What is your favorite body part to treat? And Why?
I honestly enjoy treating just about everything.  I love that every day is different and my patient caseload is very non-monotonous.  Every patient is each so different in how they present, severity of their injury, and functional limitations.  I enjoy the challenge.
What do you believe is one common misconception about Physical Therapists?
One common misconception about Physical Therapists is that once you’re in physical therapy, you’re then dependent on the Physical Therapist for a prolonged duration.  Our goal as Physical Therapists is to meet the patient’s functional goals and promote the patient’s ability to self manage. Once that’s achieved, the patient is educated on a home exercise program and discharged.  Many people do decide to continue physical therapy on a wellness basis.
What is something that you have gained from working at Landmark Physical Therapy?
From working at Landmark Physical Therapy, I have learned the importance of one on one care.  At Landmark Physical Therapy, there are not any Physical Therapy Techs/Aides so everything is supervised by the PT.
What is your typical work day like?
There really isn’t a typical work day.  Every day is different in that I may have new patients coming in for an evaluation and existing patients coming in for their follow up visits.  While I may know my schedule of when patients are coming in each day, I never know exactly how each individual is going to present when they come in.  This makes my day very dynamic.
What are 3 words that best describe you?
Caring, Goal-oriented, and Loyal
What is one fact most people don’t know about you?
I once jumped off a 110 foot cliff in Corfu, Greece.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I enjoy going to the gym, coaching my kids’ sports teams,  spending time with my family,  watching or attending sporting events especially the University of Arizona Wildcats.
What is your favorite food?
